2001: Launch of School Eye care programme and Second Mobile Unit
2002: Accreditation by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government . of India for DNB (PG) in Ophthalmology Course.
2003: Commencement of training – Hands on Phaco and SICS for practicing Surgeons
2004: Partnership with VISION 2020: The Right to Sight India movement.
2005: Association with DBCS for conducting rural eye care activities; Recognition by ECHS, Indian Military
2006: Association with Naandi Foundation School Health Programme
2007: Installation of Lasik Laser. Recognition by Government of India for Hands on Phaco and SICS training of Government deputed ophthalmologists.
Only eye institute in Rajasthan to be recognized for this purpose.
2008: Initiation of exclusive child eye care project in collaboration with ORBIS International.
Inauguration of new block with OT, Library, waiting lobbies
Foundation stone laid at new project site for construction of Regional Eye Care Institute in Technical Collaboration with L.V.P.E.I., Hyderabad.
2009: Establishment of Exclusive Child eye care centre – First in Southern Rajasthan in association with Orbis International.
Launch of the most advanced Alcon Phaco Infiniti Machine – a revolution in the field of cataract surgery.
Formal launch of Lasik Laser by Maharaj Kumar Shri Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar
2010: A mega Camp conducted in collaboration with Onesight – a unit of the Luxottica group; Over 7500 patients screened, 750 operations performed and 6800 glasses distributed
2011: Hospital Based Community Eye Health Programme started in collaboration with Operation Eyesight Universal
ORBIS project completed; 92910 children screened; 18676 children clinically treated and 554 surgeries performed during the entire 3 years project period.
One more ambulance added in the fleet of outreach vehicles.
2012: Alakh Nayan Mandir representatives attended 8th General Assembly of International Agency for Prevention of Blindness (IAPB)
2013: Child Eye Care programme started in collaboration with Dr. Shroff Charity Eye Hospital, Delhi. 73 Children operated and 234 children provided free of cost glasses under the project.
2014: Vision Center established at Jhadol (Phalasia), Udaipur.
2015: Two Vision centers started in Simalwara, Dungarpur and sector-14, Goverdhan Villas, Udaipur.
2016: Clinical procedures started in new campus located on "Alakh Hills" Pratap Nagar Extension, Airport Road.
